May 2025 RC RWC Tutor Class of 2025 by Hannah Kleinkramer

Let’s celebrate our graduating tutors! It's a time to acknowledge their hard work, dedication, and the incredible impact they've had on their students. Their commitment to fostering learning and growth will leave a lasting legacy. Let's honor their achievements and wish them all the best in their future endeavors!

Luis Barba is an English Literature major graduating from California State University, Fresno, with plans to seek job opportunities. He advises fellow students to believe in themselves, emphasizing that self-worth and intelligence are key to finishing their degrees. He is a passionate collector and enjoys gathering a variety of items, including Marvel memorabilia, dolls, trinkets, movies, and games. His collections serve as cherished reminders of joyful moments in his life.

Emily Rawlings is a psychology major graduating from Southern New Hampshire University. She plans to transfer to graduate school while intentionally taking time off from work. Emily believes in the importance of rest and encourages others to prioritize sleep, as it helps replenish dopamine stores essential for motivation and sustained effort necessary for completing a degree. She emphasizes that quality sleep is beneficial for memory and overall mood, humorously noting that she tends to cry when she doesn't get enough rest, a fact her mother can confirm. A fun fact about Emily is that she currently has six skulls displayed on her dresser.

Kimberly Guzman is a Counseling Psychology major set to graduate from National University. She aspires to be a therapist at a recovery center, where she aims to help others on their healing journeys. Kimberly believes that your degree doesn’t define you. She encourages others who feel doubtful or stuck to remember there are resources for them. Progress isn’t always linear, and failure should not hold you back!

Estefani Gordillo is a Psychology major graduating from Reedley College. She plans on transferring to Fresno State and continuing her role as a tutor at the RWC. Her guiding advice is, you are your only limit. No one said college would be easy; that's the sacrifice that makes it all worth it. Estefani believes that no matter what challenges life throws her way, it’s important to pull oneself together and keep moving forward. A fun fact about her is that she is a proud volunteer, managing the sound system and operating the projector at the Celebrate Recovery Ministry in Dinuba.
