Welcome to the 2021 Fall Semester at Reedley College!
The temperatures are hot, and the air is smoky in these last weeks of August. The Central Valley is not a place for the faint-hearted in the summertime! Thankfully, those of us here on campus again can count ourselves lucky to have both air conditioning and air purifiers in our classrooms and offices. As face-to-face instruction slowly returns, it has been beyond wonderful to see our friends and colleagues back on campus. While many of us are still dealing with the Zoom-o-sphere (!) for coursework, there is a feeling of hope that eventually there will be even more people returning to campus. Meanwhile, mask mandates are in place and there is hand sanitizer in every classroom and public space. We want to do our part to make sure there is no spread of COVID-19 or any of its variants.
We here in the RC RWC are looking forward to reconnecting with all of you and hope you enjoy our upcoming Fall Issues.
