Fall 2026 Here we come!
Where the summer went, I do not know, but now it is Fall 2026 and a new academic year is here. For those of you returning, welcome back, and those of you who are new, welcome to Reedley College's Paper Jam Blog. As is the case each year, our students graduate and new folks begin. This year we welcome four new tutors, and look forward to the ideas and will share here. We have a lot to look forward to, new courses, new people, new ideas, interspersed with favorite holidays like Halloween, Dia de Los Muertos, and Thanksgiving. Please feel free to look around and read the latest articles from our students. They write monthly about topics they are interested in for the purpose of demonstrating how writing can be so many things... it can inform, express , muse, explore, and reflect all of the things we encounter and wonder about everyday. We want to encourage anyone who visits us here to pick up a pen/pencil, sit down at their keyboard and write. What do you wonder about? What interests you? What is a favorite memory? Each of has a story and only we can tell it.
Here in the Academic realm writing can seem overwhelming, but if you start with what you know and what you have questions about, you will be suprised with how your writing will unfold. We are looking forward to seeing you in the RC RWC!
