September 2025 Fall Semester Underway...

So many things to be thankful for...

Students back on campus...new faces...new opportunities for connections...reminders that in the midst of so many challenges, students are choosing to be here to further their educations. One of the things I love the most about being here at Reedley College is the mix of ages and stages of life that come through our doors everyday.

One of our regulars here in the RWC is a returning student whose children are grown, and who has come through the ESL sequence. She is now taking many of her General Ed classes and comes in regularly to use the computers to do her coursework. She is unfailingly cheerful and appreciative. Another student who has been here several semesters has a history of learning differences and struggled through high school during Covid. He has started to make more social connections and to make appointments with tutors to stay caught up with his current classes. Six weeks in, and he is holding 90%+ averages so far. He is smiling more than he ever has before.

We continue to reach out to let students know we are here to help...one visit at a time...here is to making the most of the days and weeks ahead. :)
