The Library: Resources, Canvas Site

Despite COVID-19, the Reedley College Library is still open and available to assist students via online services and the Library-to-Go program where students can request resources online and pick them up at the Library during distribution hours. Students should enroll in the Library's Canvas site by using this link: Library Self-Enrollment.

Once enrolled in the Canvas site, students will have access to all of the online features that the library offers as well as helpful videos and how-to tutorials. Students will also find the links to the Library-to-Go service and the Ask a Librarian service through both the Library website and the Canvas site. Hours of operation, virtual office hours, and pick-up instructions for book requests can be found on the Library's homepage.

Students will also need to be familiar with the Library Research Databases because they are an integral part of conducting research for projects and essays. The RC Research Databases give students free access to dozens of online databases and resources that are credible. In addition to the databases, the Library website also provides links to tutorials on how to conduct research, how to properly cite resources, and provides information about upcoming workshops that students can attend.

Students can also communicate with a librarian through the My RC Librarian service or schedule an appointment to meet with one of the RC librarians for a one-on-one session. All of these helpful features are free to students enrolled at Reedley College.
