The Reedley College Math Center is available to help students in a wide variety of math classes offered by the college. Students can enroll in the Math Center's Canvas course for free by using this link: Math Center Self-Enrollment. All Math and Computer Science classes this upcoming semester will have the benefit of an embedded tutor with whom students who need assistance can meet for drop-in sessions, one-on-one appointments, or communicate via the Canvas Inbox once enrolled in the course. Students should always check their class's Canvas page for information about the embedded tutor.
If your class does not have an embedded tutor, you should contact the Math Center's Coordinator, Becky Reimer, for further assistance in connecting with a tutor because there are tutors available for classes such as Chemistry and Physics. There are also support services for Math 3A (College Algebra), Math 4A (Trigonometry), Math 11 (Introduction to Statistics), and Math 10A (Mathematics for Elementary School Teachers I). You will find Professor Reimer's contact information and the instructions for requesting a tutor on the Math Center's Canvas homepage. The Math Center Canvas site also has links to helpful instructional videos and notes for certain math classes.
