Jimmy Calvert
Jimmy is an English major and wants to be an English creative writing professor. They enjoy writing poetry, reading overly complicated webcomics, and drawing in their free time. Their favorite book is A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K Le Guin. Jimmy likes alternative rock and video game music like Car Seat Headrest and Toby Fox. They also can’t play bass! Jimmy is a fantastic writer, and we are excited to welcome them to the team!
Estefani Gordillo
Estefani is a psychology major at Reedley College and plans to become a counselor. She is passionate about helping people in the same way she has been helped in the past. Her hobbies include journaling, dancing, and playing basketball. Before taking English 1A, she wasn't a fan of reading, but after taking Mrs. Garabedian's class, she learned to enjoy it. One of her favorite books is There, There by Tommy Orange. Estefani is excited to be joining the RWC team and can't wait to get started tutoring.
Beth Nunez
Beth is a current Reedley College student with a bachelor's degree in communications. Her future career goals include working in the forest service and becoming a bear wrangler. Her hobbies are crocheting, caring for her house plants, composting, and playing Sudoku. Beth also enjoys reading; her favorite book is Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein. We are excited to welcome Beth to the RWC this semester!
Jackie Zamora
Jackie is an English major at Reedley College and plans on becoming a high school English teacher, so she is excited about the experience being a tutor will offer her. She is totally into music and reading. Her favorite kind of music is rock. Specifically, Bad Omens, My Chemical Romance, and Pierce the Veil. Her favorite book is The Outsider by Stephen King because it’s a gripping tale of mystery and romance. This is Jackie’s second semester at Reedley College, and she is eager to continue.
