This May, there are several special events to take note of. We’ve got graduations, Star Wars Day (May 4th), Cinco de Mayo, and probably a lot more. However, there is a month-long cause that is both necessary and important, Mental Health Awareness. That’s right, May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and included here is this year’s theme in association with NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness: Together for Mental Health. In fact, just visiting their website gives you several resources and tools you can use to be an advocate for mental health awareness. I would recommend using the social media graphics because it takes just a few minutes, and spreading awareness is just what this cause is about.
